Melchers China Joins Xplore Anhui Delegation
From September 20-22, 2022, the AHK Greater China organized its “Xplore China” field mission to Anhui. The Director of Operations China of Melchers China, Stefan Woditsch, joined the delegation on behalf of Melchers China.
The delegation consisted of 70 executives from German companies. It was officially led by the Deputy Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Shanghai, Thomas Triller, and Board members of two German Chamber of Commerce Chapters from German Chamber of Commerce in China | South & Southwest and German Chamber of Commerce in China | Shanghai.
The delegation visited several international and local companies, such as the newly built Volkswagen Anhui factory.
The delegation conducted a local matchmaking session with local Anhui companies and participated in the Sino-German New Energy Vehicle Industry Development Forum as part of the “2022 World Manufacturing Convention”.
High-level meetings took place with the provincial government of Anhui Province and municipal government leaders from the provincial capital Hefei and Ma’an Shan City. Business matchmaking with local Anhui companies was organized.
