Melchers’ Healthcare Subsidiary Altride Healthcare Officially Joins IntMeDA
The Melchers Group is pleased to announce that Altride Healthcare, its subsidiary dedicated to healthcare business, has officially joined IntMeDA, serving as the organisation’s member representative.
Headquartered in Europe, IntMeDA is a non-profit industry network committed to connecting independent medical device distributors worldwide to advance the development of breakthrough products and foster partnership building. The alliance currently comprises more than 50 member enterprises across over 40 countries, covering over 25 therapeutic areas. It stands as a highly influential collaborative platform within the global medical device distribution sector.
Founded in 2023 and headquartered in Hong Kong, Altride Healthcare represents the Melchers Group’s strategic footprint in the healthcare sector. The company specialises in cross-border market services for medical device manufacturers and operates as a China medical device distributor via its Joint Venture company Meddax Medical. Leveraging the Melchers Group’s more than 160 years of operational presence in China and its network of 25 offices across Asia, Altride has evolved into a vital bridge linking the European and Chinese medical device markets.
Membership in IntMeDA unlocks substantial international strategic value for Altride, Whereas, Altride’s profound market expertise in China will offer professional support and localised solutions for IntMeDA members seeking entry into the Chinese market.
