Recently, Melchers Group joined hands with Dandelion Middle School to conduct a heartwarming charity donation event. Dr. Mike Hofmann, Managing Director of the Melchers Group China, alongside Ms. Bai Lu, Digital Marketing Manager, and Ms. Rong Yi, HR Generalist, represented the company at the ceremony, delivering care and support to the school’s students and staff.

Melchers donated essential supplies requested by the school, including daily necessities for teachers and students, as well as educational materials, to improve learning and living conditions. Notably, Dandelion Middle School’s inspiring story has reached the big screen. The documentary film ” The bittersweet ballad”, produced over six years by Tsingying Studio, recently premiered. Focusing on the school’s choir, the film captures the students’ resilience amidst academic pressures and family migration, their laughter and tears earning it acclaim as “China’s answer to ‘Les Choristes’”. Awarded the Audience Choice Award at the Beijing International Film Festival and Best Popular Documentary at the FIRST International Film Festival, the film uses poignant cinematography to illuminate the perseverance and hope within China’s migrant children community.
